Foxwar's artillery calculator turns any position on the Foxhole world map into a firing solution. Drop your gun and your target on the map, and read the distance and azimuth to dial in — already corrected for the wind in that hex and for your spotter's calls. It covers every artillery piece in the game, works on desktop and phone, needs no install and is completely free.
Wind compensation: enter the wind strength and azimuth shown in game and the firing solution is corrected automatically, shell by shell.
Firing windows: see which wind directions keep the target inside your gun's range envelope, so you know when to fire and when to wait.
Spotter corrections: feed back the observer's azimuth and distance calls and the plan converges on the target without recomputing anything by hand.
Terrain check: a ballistic simulation against the region heightmap warns you when a hill or a mountain blocks the trajectory.
Gun groups and shared sessions: keep a whole battery on one plan and sync it live with your regiment through a single link or the Discord bot.
3D view: inspect the terrain, the guns at true scale and the ballistic arc of every shot.
Import your in-game map data (.sav) to place friendly and enemy structures, including detected Storm Cannons, straight onto the plan.
Frequently asked questions
Is the Foxhole artillery calculator free?
Yes. The whole Foxwar artillery calculator is free, requires no account and runs in your browser — nothing to install or inject into the game.
How do I calculate an artillery firing solution in Foxhole?
Place your gun and your target on the map. The calculator gives you the distance in metres and the azimuth in degrees to dial in. Then enter the wind strength and direction shown in game to apply the wind correction, and adjust with your spotter's calls until you are on target.
Does it handle wind?
Yes. Wind is set per hex, with the strength (1 to 5) and azimuth you read in game. The calculator shifts the aim point accordingly and shows the firing windows — the wind directions for which the target stays within range.
Which guns are supported?
All Foxhole indirect-fire weapons: 120mm and 150mm field guns and their emplaced versions, every mortar including the Cremari, rocket batteries such as the Wasp Nest and the Hades' Net, and 300mm pieces (Storm Cannon, Tempest Cannon RA-2).
Can my whole regiment use the same plan?
Yes. A shared session syncs guns, targets, wind and spotter corrections live between every member. Share the link, or let the Foxwar Discord bot post it on your server.
